How to Determine Your Class

To figure out your cars class, first select your year and model of car. Next, proceed to engine components where you will select your exhaust system and select the modifications you have made. For example, go to headers; if you have added an aftermarket header system you would add 2 additional points. If you have changed throttle bodies, you would add one more point. If you have not opened your engine, move on to the next section. If you have modified your engine, look at compression ratio and select the appropriate points for the modifications you have made. Continue on through the rest of the class matrix and add up your points. Then look at the class breakdown to see which class your car belongs in.

Safety Equipment: Although safety is ultimately the responsibility of the driver, PDS's MINIMUM requirements are:

Helmets must be Snell 2000 OR newer AND less than 5 years old.
Long sleeve shirt, long pants, soft sole enclosed toe shoes AND gloves req'd for all classes (at minimum).
Nomex driver's suit, gloves AND shoes; head restraint required for Super Modified and Unlimited classes.
Head restraint HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all classes.
RT/10's must have hardtop OR rollbar AND arm restraints.
SRT-10 must have hardtop OR rollbar AND arm restraints.
5 or 6 pt harnesses req'd for SRT-10 (L+R) but not SRT-C.
5 or 6 point harnesses mandatory for both sides (L+R) for all other cars if you attend 3 or more events.
5 or 6 pt harnesses must be < 3 yrs old per tag date; must be safety clipped for all classes.
